Verona

Today we came to Verona on the train and visited the 2000 year old pink marble colosseum, built by the Romans in 1AD, and a very old castle with a museum inside it. My favorite was definitely the colosseum  because they still have concerts there even though it is so old, the castle was full of paintings and old weapons and we climbed up to the battlements which were very high. We also ate lots of gelati and went on a mini train ride around the city sights which was heaps of fun. We had a drink at a really friendly bar where we got great snacks an then went to a really good pizza place for dinner where the management was quite unfriendly but I still rate there pizzas 7.5/10 tomorrow we are going to Venice by train.
