Bellagio

Tonight we stayed at  hotel centrale in the town of Bellagio on Lake Como, the boat trip to get therecwas amazing to get there as we stopped all through the lark before arriving.  The hotel was really nice and comfortable and had a great balcony with grape vines where we could read our books. We walked round the very old town which is perched on the steep sides of Lake Como and went to a lakeside bar where we fed ducks and the lake fish with bread. Next morning we had a wonderful Buffet breakfast, rolls and croissants and yummy cake before heading off to the gardens of the Villa Melzi, these are very beautiful and famous and run alongside Como, there was a chapel with the tomb of the man who created them. For lunch we went to a nice seaside cafe / restaurant where I had spaghetti  bolognaise and Dad had fish from the lake. After that we went and fed the ducks again and then we had dinner.
